PROLOGUE

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, let’s proceed to the damning facts!

First, I am Black, a lifelong Democrat, and I voted for Barack Obama for President – both times! So It’s not like I am a “Closet” Republican or something! Just check out other Blog Posts here, and you will have proof of that!

The Republican LIES – Obama will “kill grandma”, “Obama is not a US citizen and is not qualified to be President”, and “Obama is a Socialist” ring true only to the undereducated and mentally challenged.

There is an Institution, which is KILLING GRANDMA – but it isn’t ObamaCare – it’s

HOSPICES!

There are 7 or 8 ways to be qualified to be U.S. President, not just by being born in the USA! The Media never discusses those Options to protect the Republican/Tea Party Liars! It’s not the Republicans, who are responsible for the perpetration of that LIE; it’s the

MAINSTREAM MEDIA / MSM

But now that Obama has won, I can tell the Truth about Him just as I did about George W. Bush, Mitt Romney, and all the other Politicos, who carry the label “Republican”! Just remember this:

What’s good for the Goose

is good for the Gander!

If it was wrong for Bush,

then it is wrong for Obama!

As to whether or not Obama is a Socialist, read on and decide for yourself!

THE TRUTH, THE

WHOLE TRUTH,

AND NOTHING BUT

THE TRUTH!

Greenwald on Awlaki’s killing: The ‘Constitution burned and stepped on’

Salon blogger and Constitutional lawyer Glenn Greenwald appeared on Democracy Now! Friday morning to voice his displeasure over the United States’ killing of Anwar al-Awlaki in Yemen, a U.S. citizen who was considered a radical cleric for Al-Qaeda.

Greenwald highlighted the criticism that President George W. Bush received from the left for warrant-less wiretapping and controversial detaining. And he wondered where those voices are now to chastise President Barack Obama’s decision to order a drone strike to kill Awlaki.

“Remember that there was great controversial when George Bush asserted the power to simply detain American citizens without due process or simply to eavesdrop on their conversation without warrant,” he said. “Here you have something much more severe. Not eavesdropping on American citizens, not detaining them without due process, but killing them without due process. And yet many Democrats and progressives because President Obama is doing it have no problem with it and are even in favor of it.”

He added: “To say that the President has the right to kill citizens without due process is to take the Constitution and to tear it into as many little pieces as you can and burn it and step on it.”

With Death of Anwar al-Awlaki, Has U.S. Launched New Era of Killing U.S. Citizens Without Charge?

The United States has confirmed the killing of the radical Yemeni-American cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki, in northern Yemen. The Obama administration says al-Awlaki is one of the most influential al-Qaeda operatives on its “most wanted” list. In response to news of al-Awlaki’s death, constitutional scholar Glenn Greenwald and others argue the assassination of U.S. citizens without due process has now has become a reality. “One of the bizarre aspects of it is that media and government reports try to sell al-Awlaki as some grand terrorist mastermind … describing him as the new bin Laden. The United States government needs a terrorist mastermind to replace Osama bin Laden to justify this type of endless war … For a while, al-Awlaki was going to serve that function,” Greenwald says. “If you are somebody that believes the President of the United States has the power to order your fellow citizens murdered, assassinated, killed without a shred of due process … then you are really declaring yourself to be as pure of an authoritarian as it gets.” [includes rush transcript]

JUANGONZALEZ: Shortly before we went on the air this morning, senior U.S. administration officials confirmed the killing of the radical Yemeni-American cleric Anwar al-Awlaki in northern Yemen. The United States says al-Awlaki is one of the most influential al-Qaeda operatives on its “most wanted” list. News of the death was first announced by Yemen’s Defense Ministry. In a text message sent to journalists, the Ministry wrote, quote, “The terrorist Anwar al-Awlaki has been killed along with some of his companions,” but did not provide further details. In a separate email statement, the Yemeni government reported al-Awlaki was targeted and killed about 90 miles east of the capital Sana’a. The statement said the attack was launched at 9:55 a.m. local time.

Despite the Yemeni government’s claims its forces successfully targeted Awlaki in a raid near the capital, sources on the ground say he was likely killed in a U.S. air strike. Awlaki was previously targeted in a U.S. bombing of Yemen earlier this year.

Well, for more, we turn to Glenn Greenwald, constitutional law attorney and political and legal blogger for Salon.com. He joins us via Democracy Now! video stream from Brazil. He first reported in January of last year that the Obama administration had compiled a hit list of American citizens whom it had ordered assassinated without any due process. One of those Americans was Anwar al-Awlaki, despite substantial doubt among Yemen experts about whether he has an operational role in al-Qaeda.

Glenn Greenwald, welcome to Democracy Now!

GLENNGREENWALD: Good to be here.

JUANGONZALEZ: Well, Glenn, your reaction, first of all, to this news, and what it means in terms of any new precedence now set by this administration in the targeting of U.S. citizens?

GLENNGREENWALD: Well, let’s begin with the fact that Anwar al-Awlaki is a U.S. citizen. He was ordered assassinated by the President of the United States without presenting any evidence of any kind as to his guilt, without attempting to indict him in any way or comply with any of the requirements of the Constitution that say that you can’t deprive somebody of life without due process of law. The President ordered him killed wherever he was found, including far away from a battlefield, no matter what it was that he was doing at the time. And if you’re somebody who believes that the president of the United States has the power to order your fellow citizens murdered, assassinated, killed, without even a shred of due process, without having to charge him with crimes or indict him and prove in a court that he’s actually guilty, then you’re really declaring yourself to be as pure of an authoritarian as it gets. Remember that there was great controversy that George Bush asserted the power simply to detain American citizens without due process or simply to eavesdrop on their conversation without warrant. Here you have something much more severe, not eavesdropping on American citizens, not detaining them without due process, but killing them without due process. And yet, many Democrats and progressives, because it’s President Obama doing it, have no problem with it and are even in favor of it. To say that the president has the right to kill citizens without due process is really to take the Constitution and to tear it into as many little pieces as you can and then burn it and step on it.

JUANGONZALEZ: Well, for those in our audience who are not familiar with him, give us a sketch of who al-Awlaki is and what the alleged terrorist plots that he was involved with are.

GLENNGREENWALD: Well, he, as I said, was born in the United States and went to college in the United States and for a long time was considered by the U.S. government and the media to be a moderate Muslim cleric. In fact, the Pentagon invited him to a lunch in the wake of 9/11 in order to talk to him and other Muslim leaders about how to root out extremism in the Muslim community. The Washington Post had him host his own chat about the meaning of various Muslim holidays and the like. So, for a long time he was viewed as this sort of moderate figure.

He became increasingly radicalized, like a lot of people have, over the last decade, as the United States continued to slaughter Muslim men, women and children in multiple countries around the world. And he definitely became much more hostile, in his sermons, to the United States and began arguing that it wasn’t just the duty, but the right, of Muslims to not just be passive receivers of violence by the United States, but also to begin to attack the United States back as a means of deterring further violence. And so, he definitely became a great concern to the United States, because he was so effective in communicating these ideas in English to large parts of the English-speaking Muslim world.

And, of course, expressing those ideas, that the United States is engaged in aggression against the Muslim world and that Muslims have the right or even the duty to fight back rather than getting passively slaughtered, whether you agree with those ideas or not or think they’re horrible ideas, they’re obviously rights that you have to express under the First Amendment of the Constitution.

The government began claiming that it wasn’t just his messages and his ideas that were bothering them and making them want to kill him, but the fact that he started to have an operational role in various plots, such as the attempt by Abdulmutallab to detonate a bomb in a jet over Detroit over Christmas. They claim that he was involved in the attack by Nidal Hasan on the Fort Hood base that killed 14 American service members. The problem with that is that there’s been no evidence presented that he’s actually been involved in any of those plots. He’s not been indicted, he’s not been charged. If he has been involved in those plots, then the solution is to charge him with those crimes, bring him before a court of justice, and prove his guilt, not simply to order him killed as though the President is his judge, jury and executioner.

JUANGONZALEZ: Now, his father had attempted, or started a court proceeding to try to enjoin the Obama administration from carrying out any attack on his son. Could you talk about that and where that is?

GLENNGREENWALD: Sure, well, Awlaki himself was incapable of suing to vindicate his rights, because had he popped his head up at any time, as we proved today, he would have been killed by the Unites States government, which sought on several occasions before today to kill him. So his father brought suit on his behalf, represented by the ACLU and the Center for Constitutional Rights, asking a court to enjoin the President from murdering his son without due process. And in response, the Obama administration made numerous claims, mostly arguing that courts have no right to interfere in the decisions the president makes about who is an enemy combatant, using standard Bush-Cheney theories about how this is a military operation that the court shouldn’t be involved in. And they even argued that whom the president decides to assassinate is a state secret and that courts have no business meddling in or judging or adjudicating the president’s choices in that regard.

A federal court, several months ago, accepted the argument that this was really a political and military matter and not a legal or constitutional or judicial question for courts to resolve, although the judge said that there’s very difficult questions raised because of what an extraordinary step this is for the president to order American citizens killed. He said it’s really up to the Congress to stop it or for the president to make decisions on his own. That, I believe, is being appealed. The appeal is pending, but obviously it’s now too late. There’s no point in trying to obtain an injunction now that Awlaki has been killed by President Obama.

JUANGONZALEZ: And the bizarre irony of the government in Yemen, which is clearly illegitimate by any international standards, facing a huge popular rebellion among its own people, being involved, to some degree or other, with the United States in this killing?

GLENNGREENWALD: Well, President Saleh, who of course has been slaughtering his own citizens, you know, by the dozens over the last several months, and is still—you know, has been a longtime ally of the United States. The State Department has issued some very meek statements suggesting that there should be a democratic transition. But we’ve continued to work with President Saleh, the U.S. government has, to try and kill the people that we want dead in Yemen, including Awlaki. And this is widely viewed as an attempt by President Saleh to sort of offer an olive branch to the United States: “We will help you kill the American citizen within our borders, whom you want dead, in exchange for your continuing to support our regime.”

Of course, you know, the United States has been trying to claim to the Arab world that it is on the right side of the Arab Spring, and yet, just yesterday, of course, in Bahrain, numerous medical professionals—doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers—were imprisoned for the crime of treating protesters who were shot by government forces just two weeks after the U.S. government announced that it plans to ship to Bahrain huge amounts of new weapons. And here, our longtime ally, President Saleh, is not only now slaughtering his own citizens, but helping the United States government murder its own. So it’s a pretty difficult sell to people in the Muslim world to claim that we’re on the right side of the Arab Spring, when we not only continue to embrace the people who kill their own citizens, but now kill our own citizens, as well.

JUANGONZALEZ: I want to read to you a quote from the editor of the Yemeni Post, Hakim al-Masmari. He said, quote, “The Yemeni government will face a lot of criticism, especially in the south, for allowing US drones to attack Yemeni civilians. But it will not be a blow to Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula from any perspective. We don’t feel they will suffer, because [Awlaki] did not have any real role in [al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula].”

GLENNGREENWALD: Right. Well, one of the, you know, bizarre aspects of this is that media and government reports have tried to sell Awlaki as some sort of grand terrorist mastermind. There’s even lots of articles you can find online in major publications describing him as “the new bin Laden.” You know, the United States government needs a terrorist mastermind to replace bin Laden to justify this type of endless war that President Obama, the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize winner, is insisting on not just continuing, but escalating. And for awhile, Awlaki was, you know, the person who was going to serve that function.

But the problem is, if you read experts in Yemen, like Gregory Johnsen and others, they mock the idea that Awlaki was some sort of a leader of al-Qaeda and even question whether he had any operational role at all in any of these plots. He was clearly a cleric who developed some audience and was popular particularly among English-speaking Muslim youth because of his ability to communicate with them. But the idea that he was some sort of high-up in al-Qaeda or that this is a blow to the operational capability of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula is absolutely ludicrous. And if you read Yemen experts, you’ll see that that’s true.

The problem is that American political culture is such that evidence doesn’t make a difference. Trials and due process are very pre-9/11. What we believe is that if the president stands up and says that someone is a terrorist, that’s all we need to know. They are therefore guilty, because the leader has accused him of being that. And as long as his aides then go and leak to the media, which they are doing and have done, that he played a significant operational role and was a big al-Qaeda leader, we won’t need to see any evidence. We’ll just stand up and blindly click our heels and accept it’s true, and then cheer the fact that he’s been murdered based on those unproven claims.

JUANGONZALEZ: And Glenn, what can people who are concerned about this extraordinary extension of the powers of a president to basically ignore any kind of due process with our American citizens, what can they do?

GLENNGREENWALD: Well, one thing that is obvious is that voting for Democrats as opposed to Republicans doesn’t help. In fact, you know, if you read the New York Times article from April 2010 confirming that Awlaki is on the hit list, it makes clear that there’s been no instances where George Bush ordered American citizens targeted for assassination, that this is an extraordinary, and even perhaps an unprecedented, step under the Democratic president.

You know, what people in the Arab world did when their leaders did things like imprison them, let alone kill them, and their fellow citizens without trials, is they went out into the streets and protested and demanded that it stopped. And so, you know, it’s hard to see how voting for one of these two parties is going to end these extraordinary excesses and violations of the Constitution. It clearly doesn’t. Something outside of that system is necessary to address it. That’s been proven.

And so, I think, you know, if Americans cared about the constitutional rights that they pretended to care about under George Bush, Democrats in particular, they would be very vocally protesting and objecting to this. But the problem is, is that the opportunity to use these issues as a means to undermine Republican politicians is now gone, and so a lot of the people who three years ago were pretending to care about these things no longer do. And so, the question that American citizens have to ask themselves is whether they really believe in the principles of liberty and rights that they have learned were protected by the Constitution. That’s just a piece of paper, the Constitution. It cannot protect those rights. Only the citizenry can ensure that those rights aren’t trampled on. And the question is whether citizens actually believe in those.

JUANGONZALEZ: And finally, Glenn Greenwald, we’re getting reports that the U.S. government is confirming that it was a joint operation with the Yemeni government. Your sense of whether you believe this was a drone strike largely carried out by the United States?

GLENNGREENWALD: Well, I mean, there’s no question, I believe, that the United States played a significant role. I mean, the United States have been wanting to kill Awlaki for a long time. The Yemeni government has not wanted to kill him, in part because if it does, it will trigger lots of unrest and resentment, and that’s the last thing, especially at this point, that it wants. So I believe that this has been done by an air strike. Certainly the Yemeni government would not have the ability to carry that out on its own. The fact that the U.S. government confirmed so quickly that he was dead and is now accepting responsibility, I think, is fairly definitive proof that, you know, the U.S. played a very significant role, if not the lead role, in extinguishing the life of its own citizen without due process.

JUANGONZALEZ: Well, Glenn Greenwald, I want to thank you for being with us, constitutional law attorney, political and legal blogger for Salon.com. We’re going to break, and when we come back, we’re going to take a look at a new film on the American teacher.

2 – Supporting, Enacting & Signing T.A.R.P., Part II, just as Bush did re T.A.R.P., Part I:

http://www.thepoliticalguide.com/Profiles/President/US/Barack_Obama/Views/TARP/

BE CAREFUL if you go to read the above Article in its entirety! It contains a good deal of Sophistry! It has a Chart comparing the Bush TARP Funds repaid vs. the Obama TARP Funds repaid without regard to the Fact that Bush was 2001-2009 while Obama has served from 2009-Present. Obviously consideration must be given to the Fact that Bush gave out Funds in 2008 before Obama even took office. So it is reasonable to presume that more of the Bush “Gifts” would have been paid back than the Obama “Gifts”. I want to know where the RETURNED FUNDS ENDED UP!

When Authors deliberately omit such important considerations, you know they are cheating by hiding the Whole Truth just to “Win an Argument” rather than seek Absolute Truth! The author’s “Timeline”, while accurate, is no more than an afterthought and does not correct the PRIOR MISDIRECTION!

You will find that Tabacco is unafraid to use SOPHISTIC SOURCES to make my own Case when necessary!

3 – “Fiscal Cliff” Legislation, which offers up Social Security & Medicare to the Republicans:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_fiscal_cliff

No WHITE DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT – and certainly NO REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT – would dare offer up SOCIAL SECURITY & MEDICARE on the ALTAR OF COMPROMISE! The Fiscal Cliff is Obama’s RESPONSIBILITY – Republicans always do what Republicans do, but Democrats are SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE MIDDLE CLASS’S CORNER – Obama is NOT! Wake up, my BLACK BROTHERS & SISTERS!

4 – Korean Free Trade Agreement (KORUS), similar to NAFTA and all the other FTAs:

http://www.ustr.gov/trade-agreements/free-trade-agreements/korus-fta

PAY ATTENTION TO THE DATES! When KORUS was signed (June 30, 2007), George W. Bush was U.S. President. But when Congress approved it (November 22, 2011) and when “the agreement into force” (March 15, 2012), Barack Obama was U.S. President.        QED!

5 – Canadian Pipeline:

to read a List of Nuclear Plant Disasters since 1952 – it’s a LONG LIST! But wait until December before you do! I am totally revising and updating that Post. It was rushed to get my Industrial Complex Series in print. I apologize profusely for my lack of thoroughness in the original Post!

7 – “ObamaCare” and its Drawbacks could not be helped because of the Republican OBSTRUCTIONISM and the Stupidity of GOP RANK & FILE.

My objections here are due to Obama’s “Bait & Switch” Tactics. He knew from the git-go that NO PUBLIC OPTION (with or without a Trigger Mechanism) would ever be permitted by the GOP or the Insurance Industry. What we got was the Best we could hope for because of the Selfishness of American Capitalists. However, Obama deceived us with “Hope” when he knew better from the beginning!

8 – Dream Act T.I.N.A. Deception:

The Dream Act is a Political Concoction loved by Democrats and hated by Republicans because most of those Illegal Hispanics will become Registered Democrats if provided a “Path to Citizenship”. In order for those Illegals to get on that “Path”, they must either

a) Pursue Higher Education (for which they must pay), or

b) Join the Military.

Regardless of how you feel about this Issue, the Deception is the Military Service. Illegals will have to play Russian Roulette in order to become Citizens. Nobody should be forced to do that and fight America’s Illegal OPEC WARS in order to achieve Citizenship. The Dream Act, as it is currently constituted, is an OBAMANATION! And yes I know he didn’t write it! It began under the Bush Administration, undoubtedly penned by the Pentagon! But Obama supports it!

9 – Promoting & Signing

OPEC WAR FUNDING LEGISLATION

despite knowing the Iraq War was predicated on LIES, told by a Bush FALSE WITNESS! Saying, “Bush started it!”, while True, is nevertheless UNACCEPTABLE! Murder & Genocide never is!

EPILOGUE

Now that you’ve read the FACTS, does President Obama seem like a “Socialist” to you? Of course not!

Right-Wingers are known for their 180-Degree Lies wherein they claim the exact opposite of the Truth is the Truth! Remember the “Swift Boaters”, who lied and demeaned John Kerry’s Military Service, when it was George W. Bush, whose Military Service was much less than stellar!

When discussing Politicians, combining the words “Principles” and “Politicians” in the same sentence is rarely a good idea!

PS: Would I vote again for Obama if the Election were held today? You bet I would! Any Democrat in the White House is preferable to any Republican! We’re NOT talking 1860 anymore!

  1. Tabacco says:

KEVIN PHILLIPS: Well, I think the Republican Party today is not very sure of what it is. It is a little bit too interested in upper bracket America. But I think the party system as a whole has drawn away from its moorings. You have a Democratic president supporting the bailouts of banks. The history of the Democratic Party under Jefferson, Jackson and FDR was to crack down on the banks. So, I think you have both parties today don’t stand for very much aside from self interest. And they are mostly involved in hustling money from the 20 or 30 richest zip codes in the country.

    - Kevin Phillips, a guest who was once one of the most influential Republican strategists. In 1969 Kevin Phillips wrote the groundbreaking book, “The Emerging Republican Majority”. Newsweek described the book as the “political bible of the Nixon administration.” After a series of best-selling books on the Bush family, Wall Street and the American theocracy, Phillips is looking back at the roots of the American Revolution in his new book, “1775: A Good Year for Revolution.” “What happened that set the United States in motion in the mid 1770s is still relevant in some ways because what it showed was that you sometimes have to have a lot of very disagreeable politics to make progress. That you don’t get anywhere by having all kinds of nice slogans and by trying to barter every difference with a cliche and pretend thats all’s well and the United States is in wonderful shape,” Phillips says. “The United States is not in wonderful shape and it needs to get back some of that spunk that it had when people were willing to talk very bluntly about harsh and tough measures.”
    …..
By the time 1775 ended, there was no longer a single fort in the 13 colonies that was held by the British except the fortifications of Boston, Boston Neck. Royal governors had fled. The colonies had little governments all over the place, whether it was provincial congresses or committees set up by the first Continental Congress in 1774 to monitor trade boycotts, the government was there. People don’t get to hear about this. They hear about this romantic sense of 1776, and was sort of a love fest. We all did not really have to rebel too much because we all did it together and we have this wonderful language and this wonderful document that at the time nobody cared about. And it’s just covered up the whole realistic thing. And that’s what I think is relevant today. You do not get realistic arguments out of these two sides with their cliches and their party’s historical positions which are not relevant to a crisis. They are things they do to get their electorate.
    …..
I think that what you have in politics with so much depends on money is that the Republicans and Democrats both depend on big money but they depend in substantial part on different slices of it. There’s a big overlap. But, if you look, for example, at the richest zip codes in New York and Boston and Chicago and Philadelphia, L.A. and San Francisco, all very rich areas. These are democratic. The voice of the Democrats from the big cities with the major bank and financial concentrations, they’re so — Democrats are so strongly identified with these people and with certain industries that they are very much for wealthy America, too. And it is amazing to me how Obama was so able to posture as being for the middle class and against the rich. Only with a Mitt Romney in there, a Mr. I-don’t-want-to-pay-taxes and his vulture capitalism, otherwise the Democrats would have had to say, what have we done for you recently? Really, well, not a whole lot. But, we are a lot better than these people. That is what they had to say subliminally.

But, for example, the Democrats, it’s my understanding, that Obama did not carry a single County in West Virginia, which is sort of a stereotype of a poor state. Now, for the Democrats not to be able to carry that, while they’re racking up huge contributions out of the zip codes in these cities I just described, tells you about what the Democrats represent, too, which is another slice of rich America. And you’re not going to get anybody coping with this crisis who doesn’t say, and they stand up loudly and say it, and Warren Buffett says it, these people have to pay a lot more taxes. They have a lot more responsibility. The financial scandals were the most unindicted set of major scandals in American history; Democratic administration. A long way from Franklin Roosevelt there.

WHAT THE WORLD REALLY THINKS OF ISRAELI TREATMENT OF PALESTINIANS & USA MIDDLE EAST FOREIGN POLICY!

UNITED NATIONS (AP) — The United Nations voted overwhelmingly Thursday to recognize a Palestinian state, a long-sought victory for the Palestinians and an embarrassing diplomatic defeat for the United States.

The resolution upgrading the Palestinians’ status to a nonmember observer state at the U.N. was approved by a vote of 138-9, with 41 abstentions, in the 193-member world body.

A Palestinian flag was quickly unfurled on the floor of the General Assembly, behind the Palestinian delegation. In the West Bank city of Ramallah, hundreds crowded into the main square waved Palestinian flags and chanted “God is great.” Others who had watched the vote on outdoor screens and television sets hugged, honked and set off fireworks before dancing in the streets.

Real independence, however, remains an elusive dream until the Palestinians negotiate a peace deal with the Israelis, who warned that the General Assembly action will only delay a lasting solution. Israel still controls the West Bank, east Jerusalem and access to Gaza, and it accused the Palestinians of bypassing negotiations with the campaign to upgrade their U.N. status.

Musician Stevie Wonder is reportedly poised to cancel his appearance at a concert to raise money for the Israeli Defense Forces following mounting pressure from an online campaign. The Jewish Telegraphic Agency says Wonder plans to take action after thousands of people signed a petition urging him not to support the Israeli military because of its treatment of Palestinians. According to the news agency, Stevie Wonder’s representatives plan to say the performance would be out of step with his role as a U.N. Messenger for Peace.

TABACCO: If you get your News from the Mainstream Media (CBS, CNN etc), you doubtless think Israel is getting a “Raw Deal”. NOT SO! It’s the Palestinians, who are getting that “RAW DEAL”, and the WORLD AGREES!! Americans, your Government is LYING BIG TIME! The World knows better even if Americans do not! 138-9!!!!!!!!

PS And you can bet the 41 “Abstentions” would have voted for it too if they weren’t afraid of losing USA “Foreign Aid” and “Good Will”. You will NEVER get better Proof of which side is Right and which side is Wrong than this!

Three environmental activists were arrested in Texas on Monday after engaging in what organizers called an unprecedented action against the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline, locking themselves inside a section of the pipeline itself. Two members of the Tar Sands Blockade chained themselves between barrels of concrete in a pipe segment waiting to be placed underground in East Texas along the pipeline’s southern leg. Construction was halted until the activists were removed and arrested after several hours inside. Their action comes one week after two other activists began a hunger strike following their arrest for protesting the pipeline. President Obama is set to decide on the Keystone XL in the coming months after delaying a move until after the 2012 elections.
